Web Features
Recently, I've been getting a lot of notoriety for my artwork online. One of the places I am featured includes TrendHunter, where the author dubbed me "the king of surrealism". Though I appreciate the compliment, I do consider myself humbled by it. Check out the links below to see some of the places that have featured my artwork.

Knock On The Sky
Inspired from the music by the Daft Punks, and a line from Jeff Bridges in the movie, Tron: Legacy which is in fact a Zen quote: Knock on the sky and listen to the sound.
Amore Adumbration
The newest piece of artwork was created from a sketch by the subject matter when she first attended college in the early 90's. This is my interpretation of the sketch.
Art Blizzard
Five pieces of my artwork was recently accepted to the Art Blizzard in Genosa, NY for their annual exhibit. The exhibit runs from February 12 through March 12, 2011.
You can read more about this event on my blog by clicking either here for the artwork accepted, or clicking here for more information on the show.
MidnightDream
One night I had this very detailed and realistic dream. I couldn't get it out of my head, it seemed as though it really happened! This is the image I saw before I woke up that night.
New Blog Online
I've started a new blog, to keep track of my personal "to-do" list for becoming a successful artist. You will also be able to read little vignettes on certain pieces of artwork I've created.

ENJOY!
Winter's Dream
Inspired by Mother Nature's recent white embrace, that coinceded with Venus rising above the horizon just below a crescent moon. My muse and I took to playing in the snow for several hours.
TribalCon VI
I have just been accepted to attend the TribalCon in Decatur, GA from February 25-28. My artwork had to go through a jury process before being accepted as a vendor.
"TribalCon is the Southeast's favorite place for Tribal dance and music workshops. They are also your main one stop shopping for tribal jewelry, music, props, and costumes with two rooms of vendors. This four day conference brings dancers and musicians together in an award winning format of classes, shopping, discussions, performances, and friendship.
4 Days, 2 live music haflas, 30+ hours of instruction, 3 discussions, 2 huge rooms of shopping,1 unforgettable all-star show... what are you waiting for?"
More information can be found at TribalCon.com.
Unthought Known
This latest piece is inspired by Pearl Jam's song "Unthought Known". The visuals I would see and the emotions I felt while listening to the song helped bring about this image for me. I hope you enjoy it!
cosmicBeauty
Creating so many Fantastical Inhabitants pieces recently, I decided to delve into my Mindscape for this most recent piece. The many layers of hidden images in this piece should leave viewers entranced for hours!
Street Team
We can't keep this amazing artwork our little secret. We need to let the world know! We basically want to know, how many of you would be willing to give up some spare moments to help us. No good deed goes unpunished and your love and devotion will be rewarded. Check out our Street Team page for more information.
Faericon Report
Well I just got back from the Faericon and had a wonderful time. Everyone I met was very encouraging and had positive feedback on my art. Friday I sold my first print, an open edition print of "down," which prompted several other sells over the weekend. I spoke to a few submissions editors, and hopefully I will be reporting good news about that sometime soon. I was lucky enough to have a table next to Jennifer Galasso, who is a very talented artist in her own right. When you get some free time, check out her work at: magickal-art.com. Another artist you should take a few minutes to browse her collection is Linda Biggs. Linda's encouragement is what brought me to the exhibit in the first place. She believed in me and my artwork. Head over to fairieforest.com to view her work. I have numerous other things in the works, and will updating new stuff shortly. In the meantime, browse some of the pictures taken at the show by clicking on the picture to the right, or go directly to our new Events page.
Night & Day
This past week I had an idea to create two similar images, but yet opposites of each other. I created them at the same time; working on the backgrounds at the same time, then the central images, then ...well you know how it goes. So without further ado I present "Day of Night" and "Night of Day".
Perception
The latest faerie based piece of artwork has just been completed just moments ago. This is one of those pieces that just came about because of the background image and not so much the central image. I enjoyed creating, and hope you enjoy it too.
FaerieCon 2009
I will be exhibiting artwork at the FaerieCon in Baltimore on Nov 6-8.
"Faericon brings magic of Faerieworlds, the West Coast's premiere mythic music festival, to the East Coast. Array yourself in your most beautiful faerie finery, don your wings, gather your friends and family and cross the threshold! Once inside, you will find the largest gathering of faerie artists and authors in the world who look forward to meeting you, amazing, magical apparel, beautiful jewelry, mysterious masks, handmade crafts, fashion shows, performers, musicians, storytellers, exhibitions, panel and workshops.
And at night, the gates of Faerie open once more at the Good Faerie and Bad Faerie Masquerade Balls, acclaimed the last two years as the astounding highlight of FaerieCon. Look deep into your heart: are you a Good Faerie or are you a Bad Faerie? Make your choice, create your costume, and dance the night away in the Magical Realm.
We believe that the revitalizing, healing and transforming spirit of faerie is alive and moving actively in our lives: faerie inspires and provokes, heals and reveals, illuminates and transcends.
At FaerieCon, we invite you to enter the Realm as your magical self and release the beautiful, faerie spirit that shines inside of you! Surrender to the glamour of faerie and join us! "
